NFR 2026 Transportation: Express Shuttles, Monorail, Parking & Rideshares
Las Vegas
Choose transportation for the whole evening, including the ride back. The convention center, Strip resorts, Downtown and Thomas & Mack Center are separate destinations with different access points.
Compare the main options
| Option | Useful when | Planning limitation |
|---|---|---|
| NFR Express | A current stop serves your itinerary | Verify route, dates, pickup and return times |
| Las Vegas Monorail | Traveling along its Strip and convention-center route | It is not a direct arena station |
| Driving | Your itinerary requires a vehicle | Check event parking, traffic and departure queues |
| Rideshare or taxi | You want point-to-point transport | Use designated pickup areas and allow for demand |
| Walking or local transit | A particular route fits your plans | Check distance, crossings, service and accessibility |
Do not choose a route using only the name of the resort. Identify the actual pickup point and the time needed to reach it from your room or current activity.
Using the NFR Express
Start with the current NFR Express information linked on the official NFR site. Review the route or property details for the performance date you will attend. The organizer’s Fontainebleau listing describes a free NFR Express stop; other properties and routes should be checked individually.
Confirm whether the service fits your departure location, when pickup begins and how return service operates. If a question about eligibility or accessibility is not answered in the current listing, ask the organizer or transport provider. Do not transfer a policy from an old route map to this year’s event.
The published 2026 shuttle window
The organizer’s September 14 release lists complimentary service across 14 routes serving 24 hotel properties, plus a one-way convention-center route. It gives 4 p.m. pickup starts and return service until 9:45 p.m. Pacific, with no service during the 6–8:15 p.m. performance interval.
Examples of listed stops include MGM Grand’s main entrance, Fontainebleau’s North Valet and Circa’s Garage Mahal. The convention-center route is explicitly one-way. Check the complete official route and pickup list for the stop you intend to use.
What the Monorail can and cannot do
The official Las Vegas Monorail map lists seven stations: MGM Grand, Horseshoe/Paris, Flamingo & Caesars Palace, Harrah’s & The LINQ, the convention center, Westgate and SAHARA. It can help with travel along that corridor.
Thomas & Mack Center is not one of those stations. A plan involving the Monorail therefore needs a separate connection for the arena. Check operating times, station access and current fares directly rather than assuming an NFR ticket covers rail travel.
Driving and event parking
Use current venue information for parking access, charges and restrictions. Leave time to enter the lot, walk to the building and pass security. Consider the return journey as well: leaving a busy parking area can take longer than reaching the car.
Save the location of your vehicle and an agreed meeting point. If one person leaves an event earlier, make sure the rest of the group knows the plan. Check whether your hotel separately charges for parking and whether re-entry affects that charge.
Rideshare, taxis and the post-show pickup
Use the designated pickup and drop-off locations for the venue. A convenient place on the way in may not be where cars are allowed to collect passengers later. Check the current map and any instructions supplied on event night.
Wait to request a car until your group is ready to reach the pickup point under the service’s rules. Account for demand, queues and possible changes to the route. Keep your phone charged and agree on a meeting place in case mobile service becomes busy.
Three itinerary examples
Convention center, hotel, arena
Finish the daytime visit with time to return purchases, eat and collect tickets. Check each connection instead of treating the shopping venue and arena as neighboring stops.
Downtown base
Build a complete round trip to the arena or a confirmed viewing venue. Do not assume a Strip transport option serves Downtown.
One-night drive-in
Prioritize parking and entry information, then keep post-rodeo plans flexible. A late restaurant booking should allow for leaving the building and parking area.
Transport FAQ
Does the Monorail go directly to Thomas & Mack?
No. The official station list does not include the arena. Plan another connection.
Is NFR Express free?
The organizer describes free service in its current hotel information. Verify the specific route and conditions you intend to use.
What does arena parking cost?
Check the current event parking information; this guide does not treat an old fee as a confirmed 2026 price.
How early should I leave?
Work backward from entry and the parts of the program you want to see, adding your actual route and a reasonable buffer.
